Kandinsky and soundscapes

While looking for ideas for today's blog I came across this quote:

...lend your ears to music, open your eyes to painting, and...stop thinking'.  Just ask yourself whether the work has enabled you to "walk about" into a hitherto unkinown world.  If the answer is yes, what more do you want?

Kandinsky  1910
Never having heard of Kandinsky before I plugged his name along with the first few words of the quote into Google images.  This resulted in numerous depictions of Wassily Kandinsky's paintings.  I began reading the brief snippets in each one.  This caught my eye "Soundscapes"

Composition 6 by Wassily Kandinsky. 1913. Image: www.chss.montclair.edu/~nielsenw/dada.html

It was on this blog Art Club

Click the link and read the post to learn how to create your own soundscape.  Remember, art is a family and what makes it interesting is the combination of all the members, each with their own distinct personality.
